Kayla L. Sproul
Kayla represents clients in a variety of areas including business law, contracts, corporate law, real estate, estate planning, litigation, and bankruptcy. Prior to law school, Kayla worked as a real estate agent assisting buyers and sellers in the purchase and sale of property.
While in law school, Kayla worked in the Drake Law School Entrepreneurial Clinic where she assisted small businesses and local non-profit groups in setting up their business entities and complying with the Internal Revenue Code. Kayla was a member of the Drake Law Review and a captain of the Intellectual Property Moot Court Team. Kayla was the Belize Fundraising Chair for the drake chapter of Delta Theta Phi and was the American Bar Association representative. Kayla also served as an Honors Judicial Extern for the Iowa Court of Appeals.
Kayla graduated from Drake University Law School in 2019 with High Honors earning certificates in Business Law and Public Service.
Prior to joining Shindler, Anderson, Goplerud & Weese, P.C., Kayla served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the 5th Judicial District of Iowa.
Kayla counsels her clients in a proactive manner to avoid risks and develop plans to achieve her client’s goals. Kayla’s attention to detail gives her clients comfort in knowing they have all the relevant information to understanding the best solutions to reach their objectives.
Kayla serves as a member of the Polk County Bar Association’s Bench and Bar Committee, the Volunteer Lawyers Project Golf Committee, and the Corporate Counsel Committee.
In her free time Kayla enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, and being involved in the community.
